Adam Dupré - MD Ocean Intelligence

Adam has over 22 years in the international company research, analysis and investigation sector. He was one of the founders in 1985 of MRC Business Information Group (now LMIU Company Reporting Services Ltd), he created and led what became one of the world's leading maritime investigation operations - MRC Investigations (MRCI) to tackle maritime fraud and crime. In 1999 Adam took over as MD of MRC, which is now part of the UK based niche publisher and conference group, Informa Group plc.

Adam co-founded Ocean Intelligence, which he has been running since 2005. Adam has written articles for many specialist journals in Europe and North America and has lectured in the UK, Europe, China and the USA on the collection and assessment of corporate and commercial information on Chinese companies. He is one of the most experienced company analysts in the maritime and community trading markets.

Matt Cape - CEO

Since becoming CEO for Petromedia, at the end of 2001, he has overseen its global expansion with new offices in Vancouver and Singapore. During his tenure, the company has launched the subscription news and pricing service Bunkerworld, the leading information service for the marine fuels market, and the highly regarded Petromedia events, which have quickly become recognized for their qualitative and tightly focussed agendas. In 2005 Matt co-founded Ocean Intelligence Pte Ltd, a company reporting service, which is already acknowledged for it global maritime expertise, it has the largest team of Marine Credit Analysts in Asia. He's currently based at the Singapore office.

Matt obtained a Masters degree in International Shipping from the University of Plymouth, in the United Kingdom.

Ben Peters - Director

Ben has over ten years experience in information technology. After beginning his career in 1996 as an software engineer for the Thermo company, Labsystems, he moved swiftly into systems architecture and development.

In 1999 Ben began work as a Developer for Telemarine Ltd one of the orginal internet publishers for the shipping industry. In 2001 he co-founded Petromedia, and Ben continued his role as Head of IT. Ben has been instrumental in the development of Bunkerworld to its current status as one of the foremost sites in the shipping sector.

Ben currently lives in Singapore. He holds a degree in Computer Science and a masters degree in Advanced Computer Science from The University of Manchester.

Martyn Lasek - Chief Operating Officer

After university Martyn joined global IT consultancy Logica, working with organisations which included the Royal Navy and British Gas. After Logica, he worked as a senior web developer helping produce the online version of Reed Elsevier's Computer Weekly magazine.

Martyn joined Petromedia in 2002, were he has been one of the key developers of the CMS platforms and backend systems, delivering substantial cost savings, synergies and workflow efficiencies across the group.

Martyn lives in Vancouver, Canada. He was educated at Manchester University where he obtained an honors degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Research & Informatics.

David Post - Sales Director

David has thirty years experience in the maritime and oil industry. He has worked with Texaco, FAMM and Chevron in roles including seagoing, Fleet Operations, Retail Marketing, Bunker Marketing, Economics & Planning and latterly European Marketing Manager with specific responsibility for FAMM marketing and management of relationships with many leading global ship owners and operators including A. P. Moller - Maersk, Hapag Lloyd & Hanjin Shipping.

He spent three years as Sales Manager with Kittiwake Development Ltd, developers and manufacturers of equipment for monitoring and managing the operating condition of fuel and lubricating oils in industrial and marine applications, before joining Petromedia.

David lives in the South of England.

Unni Einemo - Senior Editor

Unni previously worked with an international market intelligence dept. of the Financial Times Group in London. She has worked in a reporter capacity with Petromedia for a decade. She has participated in bunker conferences, sat on programme committees and acted as a moderator and speaker.

Unni has written extensively about the bunkerfuel and shipping markets around the world, and is well respected for her analysis and editorial skills.

Unni is a Masters Graduate from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, with a major in Contemporary Politics of the Middle East.

She is based in London, United Kingdom.

Nick Jameson - Senior Editor

Nick Jameson has been writing about the marine fuel and marine lubricants markets since 1998. He came to the industry having worked as a journalist in the United Kingdom and Germany.

His first appointment in the sector was as editor of the specialist lubricants magazine, Marine Lube Buyer.

He also worked as a reporter for BunkerNews and was later appointed editor of its successor, Lloyd's List Bunker 60.

Nick joined Petromedia in 2006, writing for Bunkerworld and its sister websites, SustainableShipping, Tankerworld and Portworld.

Since coming to Petromedia he has written the Complete Guide to the Bunker Fuel Market 2006 and the Complete Guide to the Bunker Market 2008.

Nick lives in Oxford in the south of the United Kingdom. He has a degree in Politics and Philosophy awarded by the university in the UK port city of Hull.

Guy Wilson-Roberts - Analyst/ Journalist

Following graduation Guy worked in academia and the NZ public service for seven years before joining Petromedia's Vancouver office in 2005. Guy has a particular interest in market analysis, emissions control regulations and technologies.

He also participated for a number of years in the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific (CSCAP), a government-sponsored regional academic forum for discussing maritime transport and port security topics.

Guy has a PhD in Political Science from the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Natalie Bruckner-Menchelli - Senior Editor, Sustainable Shipping

Natalie Bruckner-Menchelli is Senior Editor for SustainableShipping.com. She has worked as a News Editor, Features Editor, reporter, and freelance journalist in print, broadcast, and online media for over 13 years for organisations including The British Broadcasting Corporation and Newsquest Media Group. Throughout her international career, she has been based at a number of offices, including the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, the US, and now Canada.

With a keen interest in environmental issues, and academic experience in coastal management and alternative energy, she began specialising in environmental journalism in 2003. In 2007 she gained industry recognition for her reporting on the environment when she won Environmental Journalist of the Year, 2007 at the EDF Energy Media Awards.

Natalie has also been awarded Feature Writer of the Year three times by EDF Energy and BT Media Awards. Having joined Sustainable Shipping in May 2008, Natalie is responsible for ensuring that the editorial content of Sustainable Shipping continues to drive the agenda of shipping and the environment and provides readers with information that empowers them to make critical decisions in today's challenging climate.

Paola Cape - Marketing and e-business manager

Paola has worked in sales and marketing for 12 years. She started her career in 1996 at Royal Mail International in London, where she worked with publishing and mailorder clients based in the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden. In 2001 she moved to Royal Mail's national division.

Her roles included Business Development Manager and Key Account Manager. During this time she was responsible for strategic sales portfolio's, managed relationships with strategic clients, provided direct marketing consultancy, and developed a number of integrated supply chain solutions working in partnership with mayor clients. She also sat on a project team developing an innovative solution for a previously untapped market and was involved in the development of sales and direct marketing campaigns. She has worked with clients such as ntl, Telewest, T-Mobile, Virgin Broadband and a number of Dutch publishers..

In 2007 she joined Petromedia in Singapore, where she has amongst others been focussing on the development of the online commercial aspects of the website.

Paola speaks five languages. She has a B.A. in International Business & Languages from the University of Arnhem and Nijmegen in the Netherlands and a MSc in e-Business & Innovation from the University of London.
